Murder So Heartless: A Merry March Mystery by Eileen Curley Hammond
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I’ve read the first two books in the series and was excited to get started on the third one. I wasn’t disappointed to find that Merry March and her daughter had found themselves drawn into another predicament in their little town.
This one definitely puts the culinary in these cozy mysteries, as the amazing food is a character all its own! Merry is starting to get a reputation around town for her amateur sleuthing, and it seems that could be a double-edged sword.
Her ex-husband is causing trouble again, by way of a new girlfriend, and Merry is trying to figure out what could be going on with a group of old friends from Desert Storm and a missing ring.
You should definitely give this one a read, Mrs. Hammond doesn’t disappoint with her story. She kept me guessing until the final moment of the reveal. I had my suspicions on who ‘the bad guy’ was… but I was wrong!
